One hundred lightweight aluminium rings sized 8 × 9mm for braids, locs and twists — enough to dress a full head and share with a friend. Slide on, squeeze gently, done.
At 8 × 9mm these are a small, discreet size. They suit medium and finer braids and read as detail rather than as statement hardware. Aluminium is soft enough to close with finger pressure alone, so no tool is required.
The trade-off with soft metal is that a ring which has been opened and reclosed a few times will weaken and eventually snap. With a hundred to a pack that is hardly a constraint, but it is a reason to place each ring where you want it the first time rather than repositioning repeatedly. Take them out before washing so the hair underneath can dry properly.
