Choosing your options

The Plug Type option sets which wall plug ships with the iron — choose US unless you are buying it to use abroad. The unit is dual voltage, so it runs on both 110 V and 220 V supplies without a transformer.

The option labelled Color selects packaging, not a colour: “With Box” ships in the retail box, “No Box” ships without it. The iron itself is identical either way.

Using it

Most styling takes three to five minutes. Start at 160 °C and work up only if you need to — fine or colour-treated hair rarely needs the top setting, and habitual use at 220 °C is what causes damage over months rather than days. The body is insulated to stay cool where you hold it; the plates are not, so give it a few minutes before storing.

The power cord is fixed rather than swivel-mounted, so it will twist if you rotate the iron repeatedly in one direction.
